I am wondering what will set the war off. The war hawks on both sides can hardly wait. No matter how much steel Sodom gets they are still way behind on the stats compared to AD (IMO). They can recruit as many noobs as they wish to compete with the amount of people and size of AD but as for combat skills and stats they should have asked Jorbtar not to nerf the tables just yet.

Sodom=> Organised guys who play H&H 24/7
AD=> Less Organised guys who play H&H 25/7

depending on the quality of the players Sodom accepted recently, they could either have half of their city consisting of really bad players and the other of really good, but as I know several players who joined Sodom, I'd say the quality is pretty high, but maybe it's because I don't know any of the newer (worse) players.

Do I see the old John Smith genes breaking through again? First of all I have no idea what gives you the impression we are behind on stats, since we have been playing several more months than most AD citizens and our tables were always at least close to theirs. AD simply outnumbered us quite a bit until recently with mostly really dedicated players it seems. We closed that gap too now, although it looks like AD is about to go for the next recruitment drive ;)

With the recent changes in the combat system individual stats don't matter that much anymore anyway, what really matters is the size and most of all the organization of your army. With us having the best commander of the hearthlands I am quite certain we can stand a chance, if it ever comes to a war. :P

That said I am pretty certain it will never come this far. While it can be difficult at times for such big factions (I don't really want to call them empires yet, both of us only have around 60 active players) to control everyo single villager, the leaders on both sides have pretty good relationships with each other. Frequently talking on their own channels to avoid any problems. So an all out war will only occur once loftar and jorb announce the mapreset. We have already agreed on a big, final battle for that time.

A battle at the end of the world would be pretty lame considering no one would have anything to lose....it wouldn't really be a battle...

The final battle will still be fun though.

Wondering if Jorb nerfed the tables and changed the combat system for Sodom just so they might have half a chance at the final battle :D

I think it would still be very interesting. First we can clear up once and for all who has the stronger army. If a war was to break out now it wouldn't really be that one battle, but small skirmishes, people hiding and logging out when they get attacked, tracking scents later to summon etc. Second fights on such a big scale never happen so they might even give the devs some input on how their combat system works in a real war.

Although some people seem to be under the impression that jorb favours us, he wouldn't do that for us. I have been one of the people nagging him over and over again about the tables for months, even when there was no uprising of AD to be seen anywhere. So I was amongst the guys who would lose most from a nerf, but who else was going to tell him how op tables become at a certain level if not players who actually have such tables?
