A friend made two accounts that vanished. within less then 24 hours. I am not talking characters he made within the account, but the actual account itself. What're some things to look for as to why it might be doing this? Is it simply because it was a new account?

An account should never disappear. What are (were) the names of the accounts?

Using capital letters does effect the name of an account.

Example:

Username: Bob
Password: Bob

(Later on that player logs in.)

Username: bob
Password: bob

INCORRECT.

Try to get your friend to retype his pass using this.

Thread can be closed now. He's apparently now able to log in just fine. So, I guess it was perhaps just a weird internet connectivity issue...? Either way. It works so uh, someone can close this thread now before the trolls start swarming in.
