i would like to make this thread about any major wars or armies being formed, because once levelled up i plan to journey south and join a war...

You certainly are naive. Anyone planning a war will keep his mouth shut about it until the attack is over. You also can't just go and join a war, you probably have no idea how fights in this game work at all. There is not like a battlefield where 2 armies meet. It is all about deception, lies, abusing bugs and spying work.
When you want a war build a village and attack another one, then you can experience it first hand.
