What do you think about allowing those with high levels of nature specialization to either have an ability that they could use to calm a hostile animal, or to radiate a field that calms hostile animals?
I'd say the amount that they were specced towards nature would determine the level of animal that they could affect - but even with a maxed nature specialization, Mordor animals would probably not be affected (but all the other rings could be). BTW, are all Mordor animals the same level or do they still increase with level as you go deeper into Mordor?
These abilities could be useful to a village as well - a nature specced villager could go out looking for cows or sheep without having to worry as much about being chewed up by foxes, or could accompany others. They could respond to foxes outside people's houses without having to immediately kill the foxes (and the fox might wander off). Or they could team up with hunters to ensure that only one hostile animal ever attacks at once (if hostile animals that are attacked by a player break free of the calming effect).
