The Place Where Bad Threads Go To Die.

subjected to profound users...

Postby Phinix » Mon Jan 26, 2015 6:16 pm

Just cause I make a comment on a forum post thats 3 year old doesn't mean it's being a necromancer if someone comments something good then good for them and me.

The definition for necromancer is "fucking the dead" or "summoning it back from the dead"
If you people are really that hateful and profound I'm never looking at the forum again because all you do is shit talk people until they rage and start saying stuff that didn't have to start in the first place and if this forum post gets one negative comment it's proof that the human race has been reduced to such trash.

Hope you people are proud of your selves being rude, mean, profound, dirty liers, and cheats

Thank you for reading this have a nice day.

I didn't post my earlier response to intentionally hurt your feelings, though clearly that was an unfortunate side effect. You asked what was happening to your posts and I explained it to you, as did Tech and I agree with what he said as well.

Unless you've got some truly interesting input beyond "Nice videos" or something similar then there really is no reason to bring back a thread that has been inactive for so long. Thread necroing is a practice that is frowned upon in most forums so I don't see why you'd think it would be any different here.

Also when it comes to fucking the dead, you're thinking of necrophilia.

2. Title Your Threads Properly

Condense the main idea of your post into one phrase or sentence and use that for the title. Poorly named threads will be moderated.

6. Sass

Any concerns regarding a moderated post or thread should be taken to the moderation discussion http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/vie ... =6&t=32976. Do not derail threads with posts discussing moderator actions.

That's why I said "or" and I may of taken it the wrong way or read the layout wrong but this post is for the other post that also happend.

If bringing back old forum posts is hated so much why do people do it almost 24-7 on Facebook?

Edit: and no I'm not advertising this.

Kaios and now borka, lol, have replied whilst I was typing and though mine is saying the same thing, I'd like to post it anyway.

No-one is being rude or mean to you - it is common practice to remove posts that necro (metaphorically bringing back from the dead) a 3 year old topic with nothing to add to it other than 'nice videos', it simply clutters up the forum and wastes peoples time. If you look through hel you will find many examples of this, it's not just directed at you personally.

Try not to take things to heart, this forum can be a bit brash at times but by reacting like you do, calling everyone out and being rude yourself, you sort of bring negativity your way.

Take a deep breath, count to ten and then smile. :)

I said "and have a nice day" at least I thought of the other people instead of bashing them with trash talk.
