Pfft, relax. I'm on your side. Mushrooms really do restore your health! Especially the ones with those flesh-coloured elongated caps. Give them to all your patients.

"Hiya! I am important doctor!"

I don't think people would want to waste their silk threads on healing when they could use leeches instead, considering there is no limit to how many of them you can get. If by "potion" you mean some kind of balm you can apply to wounds to speed healing in addition to gauze, then sure. A typical consumable potion, though, is too fantasy for this game.

there's been a few threads about advanced wounding and healing... The status affects that are currently mostly used for booze and travel weariness were at one stage considered for things like broken legs, poison and disease. Not sure if the dev's still care about that though.

I think potions would be fantastic! Its no way too fantasy for this game considering you get hearthfires and Hearth Magic.

I think he means, Mainstream fantasy, the same boring repetitive crap we always see, much of which is based on oldschool D&D role playing and Tolkien mythos, you know. Elves, Dwarves, Humans, Orcs. The same tired and overused things. I like H&H a lot for it's originality.

Search a bit on Jorb and Loftar's posts about healing.
They're fairly committed to staying away from instant healing within the game (with the exception of loftars lembas which is effectively a cheat item)

Personally I'm very happy with that stance, if anything I want healing to be slower and injuries to be nastier. Bring on the necrotic flesh!

It's better than your mother, who dropped you on your head saw some brains seeping out, then just scooped them back in with a used kitty litter scoop
