Kind of off topic, but you theoretically could do it with just one. It'd take forever, though. 10 is a good number to start at.

Need ceramics first or do you get it without learning ceramics? I didn't find any acre clay on the island i spawned on, so was stuck without that until i was able to get a boat and leave.
