Hello. How can I figure out which world I am in, and where exactly I am?
I read the Original Post and looked at the map but it is way too big to pinpoint where exactly I am.

Any help with this?

There is only 1 world. Worlds 1-6 define the 5 worlds that have come before, all wiped and the current one. The best bet to find where you are is to travel around by boat, find features like mountains and different land areas and match them on the world map, it seems impossible but you'll be surprised how easy it is once you do it.

I'm not very game friendly... if that makes sense.
I don't normally play computer games, so this is pretty new to me.

Is it possible to go to other people without having to create a new character?

You would have to have enough strength to break your hearth fire, then get kinned and added to thier town then port over but it's doubtful you have enough str. if you've only played two days rest assured you have gained nothing that isn't replacable in a couple of hours to just start a new character at thier hearth secret.

When I play sometimes I click and my character doesn't move, they sort of run in the spot, also it takes a while for a few things to respond.
Is that my problem or the game? As far as I am aware my internet is quite good.

Like, I'll click on a log and it will take a good 10 seconds for "make boards" to appear.

Nope, several months from now or god only knows when, the Devs will finish with the "proffesional" game they are producing and come back to work on Haven and hopefully then the lag will be gone, but i wouldn't hold my breath. Just enjoy it for what and how it is and you'll be ok.

Is there a way to increase the speed I "remove" tree stumps and cut trees down?
