Go to the options menu Ctrl-O and there is a tab for Audio. You can adjust your settings there.

Is there any difference what bite i use when fishing? (except guts, leeches and worms)
RoB says that i can catch perch with all this things:

Earthworm, Feather Fly, Woodfish, Rock Lobster Lure, Leech, Poppy Wobbler, Intestines, Tin Fly, Pinecone Plug, Copper Comet.

There must be some difference coz some of bites are much harder to get than Woodfish.

Same question about golden hook is it better than hq bone hook?

Different baits and lures will catch different fish, if I recall properly.

Why is the game so laggy like when the day or night comes it makes my character walk or run in place or run through things then rubberband back, its weird and that used to neve happen an year ago when i last played.

You may look in the announcement threads to read about the reasons for the lag...which everyone encounters...we all are waiting for Loftar finding a solution for that ...we just have to be patience

I just was informed the server was going to be reset... is that just a daily maintenance thing to clear RAM and caches or whatever computer gobbledy-gook goes on in the worlds of bits and bytes...?

no idea but I'm curious also (probably someone found some dangerous bug and they removing it)

If it was the in-game message it is just an occasional maintenance thing that usually happens for updates/when negatives start to overflow.

If you were told by someone the server was going to be reset you were either supposed to be tricked into thinking the current game world was going to end and replaced with a newly generated world or that the server would shut-down soon and then be put back up for what was aforementioned.
