if a house is on a claim, and I enter it, do I leave any scnets? (except trespassing for entering the claim) do I leave scents for taking stuff? there's an abandoned claim near me, with no fence but I don't want to leave summonable scents ^^

You leave theft if you take stuff and vandalism if you destroy stuff. Otherwise only trespassing.

If I build a village claim (totally encompassed with my personal claim) for crossroads & trading, do I need to keep up authority for either of these two functionalities?

Since there'll probably be only one character for now getting LP with pretty LQ curios, I'll probably won't be able to keep it rising.

Nope, you can utilize crossroads without any authority. Careful though as authority objects can be destroyed if you do not have sufficient authority in a village. It may be wise to exclusively travel to other villages rather than to let alts visit your village. Your plan is sound though.

great i'd only really use the crossroads so I don't have to use my gate, and the town itself for outwards trading ^^

Without any statues/banners, a village claim will drain 15k authority per real life day. 750 more per banner, and 1050 more per statue.

Authority gain will be equal to the base LP of the curiosity (not the LP you gain, but how much that curiosity at that quality would give with 100% learning ability), multiplied by the square root of your intelligence times your charisma, then divided by 10.

In other words:

Authority gain= baseLP * sqrt(INT/CHA)/10

If you can sustain more than 15k base LP's worth of LP per day, you will be golden. Intelligence and charisma will also help out, but you should put more focus on your LP gain as that will help all around.

Is there any reliable way of finding Aurochsen? I mean realiable, not necessarily fast... I can spend a whole day doing it if I know it has the best chances of finding a few of them

Maybe building a house on a vast Grassland, Heath or Moor terrain and reentering it or logging in and out numerous times? Or just running around?

If you're really keen on finding them, check nearby moors and grasslands every 15 minutes or so. Maps should have unloaded in that 15 minutes of time, although it may be cutting it close even checking every 15, so don't go below that.

With the idea of a house built on one: You could make some use out of that. Using a house planted in the middle of a moor, you could place an alt inside the house to afk, only to come to life for those 15 minute checks.

what is the chance on a pearl? I heard it was 1/100, but I just cooked 3 cabinets full of mussels without one.
Am I having bad luck through low number bias, or did I hear it wrong?

You heard correctly, it is a 1% chance to get a pearl from a mussel. Luck can be fickle like that, is all.
