Better not on top as you might loose ore that way - better build a bit beside where you spotted and dig through to the vein

Thanks. One more thing, what are the measures to ensure safety? The minehole will be within my brickwall when It's set up. What measures should I take to stop potential infiltrators?

The wiki wasn't clear, it says that with q10 water, it recovers 5% stamina and drains approximately 1.4% hunger per 0.1L sip.
Does that imply that higher quality water recovers/drains more ?

Also: Would equipping two stone axes increase the damage it adds?

When increasing the quality of water, the amount of stamina replenished per 0.1L increases, while the hunger drained remains constant.

Nope.

What are the best options when looking to get wax from a Hive faster? Carrots and...?

beetroots would come after, except there are a bit tedious to harvest solely for wax due to the leaves. Generally just filling the entire radius of a beehive with carrots will gain you an incredible amount of wax

Really stupid question here.

I know you can build a gate that runs West to East, but can you build one that runs North to South??

Question, does the quality of the carrots matter when using them to get wax?

If you just want wax, no.

If you want high quality wax, it does.
