You have an Inventary too - stuff should be there ( left one in the "bow row" where your char + equipment icons are) - don't know about Mac - on windoofs it's "TAB" to open - doubleclick clothes to drop on char...

Ctrl + I also opens up inventory, mac I think has some key that has a different name but does the exact same thing.

Nope, on a Mac it turns out that it's also Ctrl + I/E/T. Oh god I never knew this, and having to click to open my inventory has been annoying me for a while now. Thank you so much! (Maybe I should read the 'little-known pro-tip' thread? This is in there already, right?)

(With most programs, the key they call the 'command' key replaces the functions of the control key, e.g. for cut/paste etc, but with Haven it's mostly left as ctrl. You also need a two-button mouse instead of the silly Apple ones, which has never been an issue for me) .

I have a rod, a line, a bone hook and earthworms. As far as I know I put the rod, line and hook together (the line and hook disappeared and when I equip the rod it looks like it has a line and hook attached). I tried to click on the rod then the earthworm and the worm disappeared. (I have another one in my inventory.) I equipped the rod. I am standing in water with fish jumping in front of me. I chose "fish" from the adventure menu. I keep getting the message that "you must have a fully equipped fishing rod to fish". Argh! What am I doing wrong?

You mean when you unequip your rod bait disappeared? Was your inventory full?

You sure you were reading RoB wiki, and not wikia? Wikia one is outdated. If you take a look at the Fishing page you can find a fishing guide.
