I'm not sure how to ask this but, if I've got a village with banners around it from said village, if i let all the authority drain then destroy the idol, are the banners still there? if so, will i be able to place a new village idol in the vicinity of the banners? and will those banners be a part of the new village?

The banners (or statues) will stay, they won't be a part of a new village, you can destroy banners very easy when no idol attached to them anymore

I have a simple question.
I am pretty new to this game, I didn't even start it yet.
I have the latest Java for Win7 x64 and I can play anything Java based and such, however I can't start this game, even with the batch file I made

Batch file:
Code: Select all
@ECHO OFF
:CHECK
:: Determines Java Location.
if exist "C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" GOTO EXECUTE1

if exist "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" GOTO EXECUTE2

if exist "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" GOTO EXECUTE3

if exist "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" GOTO EXECUTE4

else GOTO EXECUTE5

:: Executes CraftBukkit based on Java Location

:EXECUTE1
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1024M -jar "%~dp0autohaven.jar"
:EXECUTE2
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1024M -jar "%~dp0autohaven.jar"
:EXECUTE3
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1024M -jar "%~dp0autohaven.jar"
:EXECUTE4
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc-Xmx1024M -jar "%~dp0autohaven.jar"
:EXECUTE5
java -Xincgc-Xmx1024M -jar "%~dp0autohaven.jar"
PAUSE

@Netheous
1. run this official test pls:
http://java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp

2. btw. you should open "autohaven.jnlp" (Play Button) with java Web Start launcher
-it explains one miss with your batch too: there is no autohaven.jar ;) besides not needing any batch files for the (Play Button) default client - all is done / steered by jnlp files (you can open with Text or XML editor to read and get a clue)

3. you might try Ender (custom) client: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=14575#p165075

grab the 64Bit one for your 64Bit Windows and 64Bit Java - also grab the update.zip and unpack into your Ender directory...and voila you even have a batch file to run :lol:

report back pls

Boughs come from Fir (Christmas trees) and Elms (white trunk, green leaves on top looks kind of like a q-tip). When you right click on either one, it will bring the option "Take Bough" if there are any available.

As a bit of trivia, boughs are also considered sticks in terms of crafting and building. They cannot be used as fuel though.

I have a question about mineholes. I know water, mined tiles, paved tiles, and objects will prevent the use of a minehole from above. Will establishing a private claim of the area below do the same thing?

water, mined tiles, paved tiles, and objects not prevent to USE of a minehole.
it prevents final stage of BUILDING of a minehole, when you going down, and minehole appears at next level.
i belive, what claim will prevent this too, until your criminal acts does not turned on.
