Depending on what you are and want...

For crafting bearcape good Dex, Psy, Sewing is usefull - it gives strenght which even helps with Anthill raiding

If you're going for cuirass, sacks, boots, throusers or shirt - better leather but going for Palli CP better take low q hides for leather

The added strength isn't much of a benefit to you since you're neither fighting nor mining so my vote will be leather. You can always use more leather, it'll always have a purpose.

I was considering making the leather into a sling. Besides, I can eat the meat if I want strength now.

Or ..... depending on your dex, sewing, teddybears.

If you don't have high q tanning tub, bark and water - the q will lesson quite a bit on the leather. If you have all that though, yeah, sling leather.

Ok, so I have a question I logged on today, and when I walked out of my house, every container, every construction(except house and claim, and 1 quern) outside on my property has disappeared. At first I thought it was a bug, so I logged out then back in. Still the same. So I thought vandalism? So I toggled tracking... no scents? My sheep pasture is broken, door open, and the two males inside are wandering the lot. Now, so you know, I have been working on a palisade and built it oo far, so I had constructed a ram and was waiting for it to dry so I could ram wall section and build gate. I am stumped, because nothing in the house has been messed with. Could a bear have done this? I havnt seen this before Oh, also, signposts containing materials ( but not built yet) have gone as well. Kilns, smelters, coops, ovens, all of it.

Pretty much all day, I logged in this morning around 7, and it is 5 now.... so 10 hours? NM, found a scent, hidden behind some wheat...
