It only matters for organization purposes to see if you have the correct leaves to silkworm ratio. System-wise, it doesn't make a difference.

Fine! :) I was afraid I'll have to manually put males and females in strict order like "m-f m-f m-f" and so on

I also would like to know, whether repair of objects like spinning wheel, metal meat grinder, cauldron etc. with low q materials reduces their quality or not.

Does Industry secretly increase mining speed? I feel that my mining speed has increased drastically as I've slid it over. This isn't noted in the wiki.

It shouldn't the better q the axe/pick you are using increases speed. Also your str does too. So if you moved your barbarism over some that should increase your str thus increasing the speed you mine.

They do not. Some animals heal other animals though, such as Deer and Dryads.

I never knew that about the Dryads, it's a shame you can't feed/offer them anything to heal you, like you can with the deers. Or, maybe give you some other kind of bonus, high q tree seeds for example, would give them more of a point. :)

Really? How can I pay a deer for it?

P.S. Question about repairing high q objects with low q material still stands.

Now that I know how nice are those creatures I'm afraid I'll be conscience-stricken every time I kill one of them :(
