Lol, I know! I stopped killing them, I did have 3 cupboards full of deer meat though, now i'm running low, i may have to reconsider. :lol:

That's bad for the environment. If you wipe out all natural predators in a region and leave only the herbivores then they will overpopulate, destroy their food source with over-grazing, and then most of them will die off from starvation. It's cruel to not hunt them, as we're learning first-hand in the US. =)

Personally, I prefer uac + melee ;) I kill them with one sting so that they don't suffer...

What are common rates of males and females? In my case ~140(obviously 134) cocoons gave 102 moths of different sex and 32 males.

It should be 50/50 but statistics will be statistics and you'll end up with wide variations. I'm pretty sure if you have a large enough sample size it'll produce a 50% male/female ratio.
