Yes, a few common metals it is.

2. Is the only way to raise your psyche through buttered cave bulbs? The only other things I can find with psyche have far more other FEPs, so it is very unlikely that if I eat a lot of them, that I will level psyche.
Roasted Sturgeon is great low-tier psy food. You may also want to try WWW or RoB (Baking).

3. Are Lady's Mantle worth anything?
No, not really. But Dewy Lady's Mantles worth a few points.

4. What should I work on saving up to trade?
Flotsams in water. Edels, glimmermoss, crowns on mountain. Royal toadstools, bluebells in swamp. Or, if you have enough time to grind, pearls.
Don't forget fresh bear corpse, which usually worths 50 pts for most traders.

5. Is there any chance at all that I could trade safely without an idol and palisade?
Yes, look for traders close to your settlements. Or ask someone with idol helps you.

6. Just to be sure, does clay cauldron q matter at all?
Yes, for more info check RoB wiki.

Thank you for any answers!

Thank you for any answers!

1. Look at what traders are offering. Different traders offer different values for chants and metal. They used to be worth quite a bit.
2. Cavebulbs are the best, ya.
3. They're good to study early on, I don't think many people buy them though.
4. High value goods that are available to everyone: cheese, pearls, floatsom, fresh bears, milk, frog prince, and other high output curiosities.
5. Yes but stick to local traders that are friendly.
6. Yes, they help determine item quality when they are used to craft.

Wow, thank you for the quick responses, everyone!

Now for some more :D

1. One of you said local trading, how would I do that? I think broadcasting my co-ords would be a bad idea. Should I just go on the Apples and Oranges part of the Forum and ask for someone in the positive 1-100 X and negative 1-100 Y? There is a village I can get to called Ainran, could I trade with them?

2. Is there really a point to building a palisade? Because I've been creeping on the forums for a while and it seems that many players can "palibash," and whenever someone who had a palisade is raided, people tell them that palisades are useless, that he should have gotten a brick wall.

1: Local trading as in make friends with people that live around you and trade with them

2: Its worth it but you should get a brick wall as fast as possible. Not everyone can bash a palisade and that will prevent some people.

Are Water nodes and well nodes related to each other? Or do wells have there own nodes.
(Example: If you build a well next to a 30q water spot, will you're well water be close to 30q?)

I am not entirely certain with well mechanics but the vicinity of a nearby water node does affect the quality of the water within the well. Something notable is that utilizing the well does NOT decrease its water quality. Something I am not sure though if the temporary decrease of quality within the nearby water node will also affect the well quality as well.
