Does any stat softcap the quality of stones mined from a stone node (in a mine)?

no I don't think so. Stone appears in quality nodes and is set.

Will the mini map updater be run again?

Doing pixel art and cant see it. :(
Would be nice to see it run once a month or something.

It was causing the lag bursts so it was disabled until that issue could be fixed. It'll probably run again when it's not causing problems anymore.

I'm not familiar with how your pixel art is being done exactly, but couldn't you just toggle to simple map? That updates immediately. It could at least give you an idea of the overall look, although not in the best quality.

Are mussel/fish nodes and clay nodes related to each other? Because every time I find a mussel/fish node there's also a clay node.

I can't say if it's true or not, but now when I think about it there is often clay where there's fish...

No but they can influence each other. if their is a beach clay and sand usually pair however.
