Quality for all full metal products are calculated with the formula: quality = (qMetal*4 + qAnvil*1.5 +qHammer*1.5)/7
Smithy's Hammer quality = (qMetalQ*3 + qAnvil)/4

Anvil q is the q of used metal (if different q prolly the AVG q)

Yes, the arrow and the X on minimap is often bugged. Click on the portrait

Yes, so long as you are inside the walls yourself
