Yes, as long as you don't take them out of racks, they won't turn into Gouda, afaik.

cheeses don't change stages until removed from the rack and placed back...the devs love us sometimes its why they created beer

Is that correct? The wiki says:

Most cheeses, if left for extended periods of time or in the wrong area at the wrong stage, will turn into generic gouda over time. If any cheese is left in a cheese rack for a long period it will eventually degrade into this.

I got generic gouda from trying to make cave cheddar - I didn't know there was a problem with it, this was months ago now though, I don't know if it is still bugged. Anyway, when I went back to retrieve it thats what I got.

What is the most efficient setup of chickens in a chicken coop?
I came up to this:

I'm not really sure if the setup is indeed the most efficient. I'm planning to put a chicken in the cock slot, and one more chicken in the bottom slot - this will provide enough space for all chickens to lay an egg. Is my thinking correct?

Our method since first day of HnH :

And put all chicks to another chicken coop.

Neither do I know "the most efficient one", didn't even bother to test different setups.
