An itsy bitsy web gave me 23K at quality 15 :o I didnt have any other curios equipped.

i made a primitive doll but i didn't gain the lp, why is that? i've noticed that i haven't gained the lp for building/discovering things that i was supposed to :/

The new "discovery" system is weird and not really wonderful. It's basically a crapshoot if you'll get LP from making an item or even have the recipe for it in the first place. There's a lot of bugs with it and no one is really sure how it's supposed to work at the moment.

As a rule of thumb you get discovery LP for items which can be processed further, but there are some exceptions (cooking mostly).

No, you need to put it in your study inventory, accessed through character sheet.
