I found it flying around a small swamp. Looks like a ladybug but green. kept flying back and forth in a small space, and it was rather easy to catch.

If you want to post the base LP, here's a formula to help, not sure if anyone already pointed it out:

TotalLP/(sqrt(QL/10)*(LA/100)) = BaseLP

Where LA is your total learning ability %, such as 360, QL is the QL of the item, and TotalLP is the amount you actually gained from it.

Alternatively, if you don't want to bother using that, it helps to post the exact QL of the curiosity along with your learning ability, so someone else can do it.
