I was wondering, If I am the only person in a village other than the leader of the village, I do not have the key, nor have access to the key, and there are no houses built for beginners. What is the best way to build a house in the village without using a lot of tobacco, wine, or anything else that takes travel weariness away?

There's no real good option. Best quality bed you can get is your only option to reduce weariness.

Plant a ton of trees whose sole purpose is to be chopped down for lumber. If you go pine and want to harvest them as soon as possible , you can get 1 log each. If you can wait a few more days, many will mature and you'll get two logs each. Depending on the house, you'll need at most 32 trees (Timber House, which is 100 boards, at 4 boards/tree, and 200 blocks, 100 from the 25 trees for boards, and another 7 trees for blocks at 16 blocks per tree--4 from stump removal, 12 from the log).

edit: dumb ass me got my numbers wrong. Forgot to figure in for blocks, too. Corrected.

Very simple question about fap variety bonus: Does it give me bonus when I eat different FOODs, different FEPs or both?
Say, does it give bonus when I eat fried egg and cow chorizo? Or is it the same as just cow chorizos?
Does it give bonus when I eat rat on a stick because of rat on a stick, or because of HHP fep?

I know if you eat 2 strength foods the total fep bar goes down so its more than likely based on food(ie eat a bear banger and piglet wurst your bar drops).

since those are same fep type, and the only way to get different fep type is different food anyway, just say its based on food even if its not :P

But I don't know if I should make both bark breads and fried eggs when bark breads already give me con.

*facepalm* con is way too easy to raise...eat a piece of raw beef, a peice of roasted beef, chorizo, apple pie, wine, beer...thats a huge variety bonus and all pure con and mostly simple to make stuff. come back when you're trying to raise perception then we'll talk

To raise perception I simply eat the leftover carrots from the circular field. Anyway who needs over 80 base perception?
Also, I don't have apple pies, I dislike using beef as con food (can't find aurochsen anywhere, don't wanna kill my cows), wine is a good idea, I don't have beer.
So, no con food. That's why I eat bark bread, pumpkin pie, pea pie and fried egg. Thanks for telling me FEP variety is food-related instead of FEP-related though.
