Wow, you seems to can't add person to village from same account. This is important piece of information and not stated anywhere. Seriously, "both must be online" should be bolded out with 20 font in wiki. Game actually punishing NOT-multiaccounting :D

This isn't a standard feature across MMOs, and how is this a question? Villages are meant to be collections of players, not a tool for hermits. If you want to hermit and run a village, you need to plan accordingly, and if that means using a second account for a lawspeaker, so be it. Even if you are a group of people, you can have a chieftain that can invite players to join. Just be glad that the "industry standard" of 5 players needed to form a village (guild) isn't required.

I created separate account, smacked on alt bear talisman, made him chieftan and oathed my another main.

On subject of alts:
- In all MMO's alts is absolutely standard. Take WOW for example. I always had 2-3 mains. And all of them was in same guild.
- I never meant to use alternative account, but that's intented and allowed to have several characters? I am pretty sure yes. And it's silly that game mechanics punish it in sort of way. In all MMO's inviting to a guild is allowed for offline characters/alts.
- I never even wanted to make village, but...
- About a tool for hermits. Currently trade is broken. And you need vidol for trade. People use village mechanics exploit to instatravel any distance to allow quick trade. I am pretty sure devs never intented that and thats why there is stands and currency in a game. You know, ancient germany, barely even horses, and we cover whole world in 5 mins. I think even Diablo 3 auction is better than this and it's never going to happen. And I am pretty sure current trade will be fixed sooner or later by devs.

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forums and the game and have already answered many questions for myself by reading the wiki and several guides on the forum.

I am aware that this question has been answered several times in the forum and even in the OP, but I'll have to ask never the less because I feel that I could save many frustrating hours with the help of experienced people, i.e. you ;) .

I am trying to gather Wild Windsown Weeds to get a farm running and I have 10 PER and 11 EXP so with 110 PER*EXP I should be way over the 80 stated as required. However, it seems like I can't find any... anywhere.
So far I went an hour straight into one direction crossing forests, swamps, hearthlands, mudflats and grassland, but nothing showed up beyond the usual chantrelles, blueberries etc.

Getting to the point, my question is: Is there anything I am missing here? Is there any specific way to get WWWs?

Help is appreciated!

TL;DR: I'm too stupid to find WWWs with per*exp>80. help me :)

Try swamps, they seem to have a lot of WWW
And keep raising your p*e 80 is a minimum, at 160 (2x minimum) you'll see most of them, at 240 (3x minimum) you'll see all.

Nope, now it's just luck. Keep looking and hopefully you'll run across them sooner rather than later. You're close the bare minimum and they'll hardly show up at the bare minimum of per*exp. =)

Thanks for the quick help. Guess I'm just gonna keep trying then. 7k LP to get to 16 exp (for 160) does seem to be very hard for me though.

There is also no fish for Plaices near me afaik and I haven't got the boatmaking skill yet...

Well, wish me luck! :D

The base score is the chance to see 50% of them. Minimum, which is 25% chance, is half that, and max, to see 100%, is twice the base or 4x the minimum chance. It's on the wiki page: http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Foraging
