Is the game browser based or do I need to download it?

I just died

I'm in the character creation room now.

How do I spawn near my last claim?

If your HF wasn't destroyed (only a player can reasonably do that), just right click the ladder.

Yeah, it goes out. The game recalls where your HF is unless it is destroyed. I don't recall the exact timing of when it goes out--when you die or when you inherit.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

So I managed to get back to my place

I logged off in my bed

But now there's another guy there.
I'm not sure if that's my body or someone else sleeping there cause I can't do anything with the body

I think he killed me and is sleeping in there.
What can I do about it and can I see the scent of murder
Can I get murdered when I log off while sleeping in a bed?

So I am concerned about trading. I have read the How To Trade post; what I am worried about is security, which is covered in the post.

- Don't port peoples mains into your village. This is just a bad idea, and I'm sure people have been raided like this plenty of times. Of course you can't be sure that what you are porting in is not a main dressed in linens with full steel plate and sword in his inventory, but please be careful.

- Preferably have a separate village idol set up specifically for trading. That way you do not port anyone into your main village, which is much safer.

I am but a simple son of a shepherd, a lone hermit in this vast world. I do not wish to employ a second village idol to trade if I can avoid it, but I also do not wish to be decimated either by villains. My (future) village claim will likely be within my hermitage (a dangerous move!); will walling the village claim in further provide adequate protection from villains? Such as like so:

Right click the bed, if it goes away, it was a bug where you logged in at your HF and the avatar didn't go away.

Someone could fill the area with signs and port outside the wall, though it might take enough time that you could find someone to gank them.

It's risky, but it's better than no seperation.

@ChoppingMad

Make a TradeAlt and get oathed to traders villages - that way you might let only very much trusted persons come to your idol
