- Preferably have a separate village idol set up specifically for trading. That way you do not port anyone into your main village, which is much safer.

I am but a simple son of a shepherd, a lone hermit in this vast world. I do not wish to employ a second village idol to trade if I can avoid it, but I also do not wish to be decimated either by villains. My (future) village claim will likely be within my hermitage (a dangerous move!); will walling the village claim in further provide adequate protection from villains? Such as like so:
