Okay, I've read every wiki and post I can find on making a meat grinder, but it's still not showing up under build> tools. I have metalworking, basic mechanics, and even sausage making. I also pretty much have every other skill remotely related. It just isn't there. Neither the ceramic or metal meat grinder. What gives?

Have you actually discovered all the parts required to built it? Without the discovery, it wont show up.

Hello. My friend and I made a timber house, but we can't actually start the construction. It says "The construction site will only set after 3 days". Does it mean in-game days or real days?

Do the changes to survival (requiring 20 survival to pick up q20 clay, forageables etc) apply to ore?
I'm raising a miner but I want to know if I should spend any points in survival to ensure I get the best Q ore.

afaik ore is the same as before - on cave lvl1 i got q10 ore with surv 8 miner (sometimes there are higher q spots even on cave lvl1 but i haven't found one yet so i can't say whether surv is in the game for that...)
