Washed up Blatterwrack, Shocked Frog, Wounders Woodshaving, Strange Root, Ruby Drangonfly, Rabid Jakalope, Rabbit's Foot, Edelweb, and Chimeing Bluebell seem to be the one's I'm not seeing or very rarely seeing. I've got 50 Expl and 50+ per so I should be seeing most everything, been doing lot's of exploring as well.

50 Exp*Per isn't that much.
Ruby Dragonfly, Rabbit's Foot, Wondrous Woodshaving, Shocked Frog, Rabid Jackalope - Per*EXP doesn't matter, not foragable
Edel - Super high, of course you can't see them or any probably
Chiming Bluebell - High PER*EXP req, also very rare apparently
Blatterwrack - Only seen 2 myself
Wondrous Woodshaving - Stupid rare for a pretty in-between curio
Strange Root - Never seen one done a bit of digging stumps

No one ever posted the Everglowing Ember stats... and a few of the times on the wiki are wrong, many of them actually. It would be nice if people could reconfirm and update.

I've gotten 2 strange roots from removeing somewhere in the range of 200-250 stumps I lost count after starving the 5th alt to get the eye sores removed. So they are semi rare, 1 out of 100 stumps as a guess, and considering the ammount o time and stamina removing stumps takes they are more of a ooh shiny things then anything worthwhile.

I've gotten 2 wonderous woodshavings after makeing 4 timber houses, 1 log cabin, a dozen or so barrels, and many many crates, a few coffers, and a lot of cupboards. so these are also pretty rare.

Both are, as DatOneGuy put it, "stupid rare" for some meh curios, I sue them on alts, or when I'm running low on foraged curios due to spending time farming.

Same reason I keep cat gold and petrified seashells around. I think they're both about 1% drop rate, too.

Funny, though... haven't seen a strange crystal, even with all the mining I do, since I started mining a bit more than a week into the world.

Don't know if this has been reported or not but some times when I'm making Bark Boat's I don't get all the finished items from the mats that I started with. Seem's every so often I have enough stuff to make them but I run out of Birch Bark sooner than I should.

Anyone else have this happen before?

No, never got an ember yet either...I do practically all of the charcoal making in my village too. I've found 1 Blue Bell, got 1 Shocked Frog (must have picked up a million of them) and seen 1 Blatterwrack (it was on a claimed beach at the time  ). Besides the Edel I've found tons of the other higher end items.

ive found more than half a dozen of strange roots, yet never found any wonderous woodshavings after making 6 timber houses, barrels, cupboards, charcoals and all.

to REWB,
as sabinati said above.
to avoid that, place your birch bark first in your inventory and put normal barks later, otherwise the system uses birch barks as normal barks. i think it is now a well-known issue, just like a hardened leather being used as normal leather when crafting more than 1 hardened leathers at once.
