What's the fastest method for gathering wax?

title pretty much says it all, i've never had any problem getting wax, but i've always felt it takes a very long time, is there a "fastest" set up of hives around certain crops in order to attain as much wax as possible in as little time as possible

we have a forager out getting them, but i still remain adamant that it's very slow
