How the hell do I find string? I already used the search option, so don't direct me to that. I know that the "String" in the game is actually different kinds of stuff used as cords or things to tie stuff, don't remind me of that either. I really need help.

String isn't an actual item, when it says string it means items like Traproot and Nettles, Which are easily found just by foraging.

Is there a requisite for foraging? And how common are they?

Your first options for string are spindly taproot or leather strips. For the taproot to appear you need some points in exploration. Leather strips can be made from dried rabbits fur, which is quite easy to obtain, although the fur needs some time to dry (eight hours, real time).

Thanks, I will take maybe 5 minutes to search for some roots or just convert my drying rabbit's fur into it.

you don't need to invest in exploration to find taproots, with 2 exploration you can start finding nettles. if hes brand new(only way he wouldn't know string) he has better uses for his dried rabbit furs than leather strips, which can't be used as fishing line and is usually the first usage anyoone has for string.

I'm actually using it for a Dream Catcher. And I have like 3 Exploration, so what do I do to get nettles?
