(Solved)Need help with increasing FPS

Postby Koonty » Fri Aug 23, 2013 10:19 am

So I can run on my computer games like the witcher 2, planetside 2 without problems but i got horribly low fps in HH. I noticed that when I play for some time and run another client to log onto alt it runs smoothly, any ideas how to fix this?

Edit. Forgot to mention I use enders modified client, and well when I run it on my another computer wich have problems to run league of legends, its smooth

Once in a while someone comes up with this ... there are very few other threads about... and i personally don't care about FPS in HnH - it's not a MP Shooter where i need i FPS to "see early - shoot early" in my opinion ... and it's funny people always mentioning DirectX games to show how capable their machine is ...

Simple crops on ender's. Enable nightvision, that reduces lag a lot.
Make your window a bit smaller. Set priority to javaw to Above Normal in processes in task manager.
Not sure if I'm allowed to say this but there's a program called Tuneup Utilities, and if you learn how to use it
that increases your FPS drastically.
I agree with picking foragables while walking. Damn that sucks. Not to mention PvP.

I pretty much tried all this except program you mention, im already playing in small window and changing priority doesnt help its always around 30% for both processor and memory, but whats bugging me is that it can run smooth on max resolution like I said while i run another client after playing for like an hour or so, it consumes around 5% of my resources then..

If you tried all that, the only thing I can say now is, the Union client seemed to go so smooth when I first installed it. It lags less but I switched back to Ender's, more convenient at this time.
So yeah, try Union client.

Sometimes, if you roll with an nvidea video card, having thread optimization enabled can cause FPS problems. If thats the case, try creating custom settings for java and disabling it o:

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it yet, if you're running dual or quad core, then set an affinity for java or javaw to run on only one cpu.
