make ender the default client, remove x-ray and hide objects, don't allow other clients

wouldn't that work?

No

Got it ... looks are your top propriety. (And its Dev's, not Admin's.)

The night-vision also makes torches pointless and ruins the stealth factor of walking around during a new moon at night.

exactly. While useful, these new features take away a lot of the gameplay. I love the xray and the show animals thing though. Take them away before I'm too addicted :)

The biggest problem with the default client is the (tiny) locked resolution. I can live without hide/nightvision/etc, but I've gotten so used to 2560x1440 res that going back to something that's 1/8 of that is just crippling.

Yes. It's very annoying. I bet it's especially annoying when you get sniped 2 seconds later by a guy you only could've seen with a zoom-able client, like Ender's.

Ye im not sure i want to advertise the game very much untill the default client is at least playable, as it stand now the tiny resolution kill all the fun imo. Sorry if it sound harsh.

And mvgulik it wouldn't surprise me if the client is their next big update, so priority, you never know what it mean untill the dev defined it.

he did suggest it, and linked the post in his earlier reply! amazing.

But then, I lolled. I love our mods <3
And our ignorant posters ofcourse, for making this all possible.

Seriously though, its pretty useful now and then just to see how nót to act.

Why would the devs work on the client if there's plenty of people who are capable as well to do so?
What makes the devs important is that they create the game, implement the good ideas of players and the occasional item a la creamy cock (yum), I feel it would be a waste of their time (or Loftars in this case) to alter the client.

Or something to that effect. (Default client is a just a/the basic client to show, play* (the basic way, or as fallback client) and test the game.)
