All clients refuse to start

The vanilla client works but enders,anemones, and Apoc all will show the black box but then nothing pops up so it wont load them which confuses me.

Edit the run.bat file you use to start each of the clients.

Add a line to it that says "pause". Like this:

java blah blah blah xm205 blah blah
pause

Save it, and try again. Now the black box will stay there and it will tell you exactly what's wrong. If you don't know what it's saying, post a screenshot of it here.

Try replacing the word java with the full path to your java.exe file, in quotation marks. This tells the program exactly where to find your java.exe instead of having it look around for it.

For example, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_31\bin\java.exe" -Xms256m -Xmx512m etc etc etc etc

Your path may be different though, so adjust the path accordingly.

Haven and Hearth uses the program Java to run. You need Java to play HnH. In the run.bat file, there is the word java, and your computer recognizes that as a command to look for the file java.exe so that it can use it to run HnH. Your computer can't find it, so you need to tell it exactly where it is (the "path" to java).



If I clicked on the address bar at the top, it would say "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_31\bin\", because that's where I am in my computer's files. Get to here from your computer to figure out your path to java. Then, add java.exe to the end (after \bin\). Now replace the word java in your run.bat file with the path wrapped in quotation marks.
