It would be a pity if the Brodgar villagers also get killed. They are just being loyal to their LS which is admirable. They have no idea (it seems that goes for the OP too, who I have absolutely nothing against btw) of the degree of their ignorance.

How do they have any degree of ignorance? If some larper is like "disperse from my clay node or else", when they can just keep it with no consequences, why wouldn't they?
"Boohoo they stole something that wasn't even protected, we shall declare war on the vile linen noobs!"
It's pretty funny, but it would be a marvel to see them actually do any damage to said linen noobs.
Demo is a fine example how a noob can build a huge city and strong characters in little time, and then challenge a 'big bad faction'.

Add yourself to that list.

There's no list, read the edit and tell me 1 thing they can do to Brodgar. Sure they can go to Brodgar walls and cry "Gib me clay node or else... please? " but that doesn't do any damage to Brodgar.
Edit: This should clear up why they will pay nothing and get sweet clay from what happened. If you read the wiki you will see brickwalls are not bashable by no botter. You need a ram to do this.

It's too early to tell wether there will be consequences or not though Nooby.

Demo did an excellent job building the new village, no-one has said any different, and ofc I applaud anyone who stands their ground, esp against a faction waging war on them, however, in this instance I do think seeking revenge for a minor earlier break in was maybe a bit foolish on Demos part, afaik there was no on-going animosity, better let sleeping dogs lie. And, like Sarge, I really hope the Brodgar villagers don't all get slaughtered because of it, that would be a shame.

Talking of claiming unprotected clay nodes - thanks, AD, for taking mine, lol, there were three villages, including mine, and we were all happily sharing it, never letting it go under 70q and each being fair when another wanted to build a kiln, oven, smelter, w/e - what makes it worse is that you will have your own nodes and I'm pretty sure they will be much better ones, I'm sure you didn't really need it.

Still, at the end of the day, I know it was my own fault for not putting a village claim over it myself and I'm not about to seek revenge against AD, lol, so goodbye sweet node, i'll be back when they've all quit. :D

P.s. To the guy who was going to trade me the 15 bricks I was missing for my new smelter, (I don't have a forum contact for you and have not seen you in-game) it's ok now, I was given them by one of the other villages who had the sense to store some - but thanks anyway. :)

1. I'm pretty sure there will be no consequences.
2. Demo makes all his decisions discussing them with his members.
3. That clay node wasn't your's, you vandal'd it remember? I showed it to you. You weren't sharing it, just stealing from it. Like the rest of the villages.
If this is not the clay node you're talking about, then just use the one I showed you I guess...?

When we bumped into each other that time and you asked me to check the quality, that was the only time i'd ever been anywhere near it, I dug one piece, so please don't make out like I was vandalizing or stealing someones clay. :)

When I first started using it the claim had been abandoned for wks, it was only when I saw someone else there and they told me the correct clay q (it had been vandaled when we were there and was lower) and that the owners had quit. By then you could see that the idol was decaying, I told you that at the time I started using it and told you everyone from the area was using it. You said you may put a village claim over it and I asked you not to, or if you did, could we share, remember.
I have no issue with 'stealing' from abandoned places, esp when it's 74q clay, lol.

I then spoke to the others in my area and we agreed to share it as I said earlier. When the other idol went, I was away from game, when I came back no-one else had put up an idol so I didn't either - we all made a mistake is all. :)
