therefore I select the points to which I can respond. It is unfair to think you, or anyone else, does different and is not mindful of how they spend their time addressing points. I create very few posts where I do not address as much as I can. It's not cherrypicking. It's time management. I am sorry I cannot satisfy you (nor the others to whom you refer) with the thousands of words I've written.

Hey man, with all due respect please don't presume to say you know my posting style. I do reply to every point until whoever questions me is satisfied, unless I feel they are trolling or there just for the debate.

That's not the point though. If you intend to lead or be the spokesperson of a peaceful democratic or representative government, you are expected to be open to dialogue, to different opinions, and to address everyone's concerns with clarity and unambiguously. You cannot dismiss criticisms and ignore questions for any reason whatsoever. And democracy is all about ad homines, which is why I said what I said in my previous post (who are you and who are the leaders that will represent this government?).

From your replies I have already formed have a rough picture of this group, I won't be posting again asking for details. As I said, it's an interesting idea. Has too many red flags, but it's nevertheless interesting to observe.

+1

@ Vaku - Your response to anyone who questions you or disagrees with you is to either totally ignore their issues or to insult them and try to diminish their replies. I used to have an element of respect for your efforts at least, but, as this is the 3rd or 4th time we have been here I've long since given up. You have no desire to listen to anyone else's point of view let alone accept it, myself and others have tried endless times in the past and just end up frustrated at your ability to sidestep all serious discussion if it doesn't adhere to your doctrine. Hence why we label you such.

I had been quite happily ignoring your latest attempt to win every one over but as you decided to imply Vera had had a bad haven experience simply for expressing a different opinion I decided to point out I felt the same and have always said so. My haven experience btw has been great! Since then you have accused us both of being paranoid and scatterbrained - nice pr Vaku, lol.

In response -

As to all posts, it is an impossibility to gain too much power in Haven, as all individuals have the power to simply quit or move. It is our wish, on the other hand, to establish democracy in haven. All voices can be heard and all cries can be heeded. Perhaps when you read the new constitution you will see the impossibility of the institution of king within such a power structure. For now I only hope you wait and see the possibilities that can be. Right now we will be reestablishing Edelheim, Industrializing Taqimathi, and developing a new constitution. Only time will tell the results and I hope if failure happens it will be due to me rather than a blind people.

Why wouldn't you wait until you had any news before making this thread... Now it's just sitting here being empty and useless.
