Massacre in my local area

Postby grier » Mon Sep 02, 2013 5:32 pm

Greetings,

I've just started playing again. And I've noticed that there are a few villages around our area. Just a few days ago, they were fine, with working authority and intact walls. But during another exploration run, I've noticed that the claims and walls were in ruins, and the villagers murdered. The villages were called as following: "Doom fortress of cookies" and "Republic of Texas" anyone know what happened there?

Yeah, I've read that topic as well. It might be retribution for an action they did. Can't say for certain, though

I take full responsibility for the destruction of the republic of Texas, while I didn't destroy it alone, it was because of me that it was done. I had theft scents leading to them, they had stolen some curios from the claim of a new guy I adopted into my village.

isn't it kinda exterme to completely destroy a village just because a few trinkets were lifted?

Perhaps, then again lots of people kill loot and pillage without any reason just as well.

Thank you for clearing that up, but I assume you don't know what happened to doom fortress of cookies, which is in close proximity to it?

Not at all. I spent time hunting bears, skinning them, breeding my sheep and shearing them to make the stuffed bears that were stolen.
As a side note, we didn't destroy buildings etc, we just went in, had a look around, realised they didn't have good stuff and left. Anything beyond that is decay and/or looters. I have accepted responsibility because its probably the big hole in the pali that has caused the extra looting.
