Trading Scam

Postby Zarxes » Tue Oct 15, 2013 6:37 pm

While i agree that trading with a stranger and agreeing to oath to someones tradeidol is not very cautious, there have been times when trading was sacred and it was a matter of honour to not attack or rob someone while trading.

I tried to buy some lowquality stuff, then negotiated the price. When i arrived at their trading idol i got aggroed, robbed and killed. While thats a nuisance for me i short term, this influences all people who want to trade or run some kind of market.
So i bring this to congress in case any of our regular traders wants to protect the image of trading and basically his business. Or maybe you just like hunting and happen to live near those guys.

There is no use in giving out any names, since these guys probably used alts.

Since i had the time to watch my character die from leeches, I took a screenshot of the place they used and located it for you on the world map. These guys where pretty weak, only doing 40 dmg on my trading alt when his defense was down.

Ingame contact was a character named "god" but pretty much anybody can make an alt give him some wine and make him lawspeaker or chieftain. So that name doesnt mean anything.

And to clarify:
I do not ask for justice or revenge because its pointless. I was just too careless while trading because i got lazy. I put this out here as a warning for public notice.
If someone wants pay a visit to those guys for whatever reason, even better.

I know the player named God. He was a good friend of mine and was recently kicked out of our village for disobeying our LS. I know he wasn't very powerful when he left just a few days ago. The char "God" is his main.

The only issue is that where you posted is miles from us.
