Did someone break in?

So I have a little shitty noob settlement and I discovered this today..

Looks like someone bashed in but there's nothing stolen or any damage done. Is there any other way that this can happen besides a player? (It doesn't look like natural decay) Why would someone go into the trouble of bashing the wall and not at least grief the settlement?
P.s. if you did this I don't want my settlement griefed. lol

Theres still some vandalism scents active if anyone wants to track - I've had a couple offers but I don't know how to find coords and I don't have a village idol. I think there's two different perpetrators; two vandalism scents that point in opposite directions. Maybe that's an intended effect when you have low per*exp vs their stealth.

in any case I do have coords now - and a settlement nearby has recently been ransacked with vandalism and theft scents galore. if anyone's bored and wants to track down these guys, PM me and Ill shoot the coords.

Bob dole thinks you should not trust this guy. He has a necro robe, he could of vandalized his own settlement to draw you into his evil lair and do away with you!
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy
