And then raided their base like 10 months after they quit too?

Or do I have that story wrong?

Anyway how come you guys had a change of heart?

EDIT:

Oh yeah, it is that world

You guys even bragged about only hunting hermits for their hats IIRC.
Damn, how time flies. But still, why the change of heart all of a sudden?

:skull: ive literally fought both koa and ad that world what the fuck are u on about I don't even know how this has anything to do with my argument.

Are people going to autism that hard to grind tree quests when a q1000 sword is functionally identical to a q500 sword, assuming similar str/con?

No one did before either. Literally that q800 bear was like one or two autismos just playing the game they like and accidentally boosted bears to obscenity.

If anything I think domestic animals go up in quality too slowly. It does not feel rewarding when there's such a huge base Q gap between them and wild animals.

Edit: Full disclosure, I like herding animals and I'm biased. Lot of people hate them almost as much as they hate questing, so making them actually integral to quality grind would upsetti plenty.

Lol he's talking about North Star, the group we bullied so hard they had their own section in Dakkan's graveyard and joined KoA after saying they wouldn't + Geleorik's who we raided early for all his animals and often called Felix/AD main for help against us

You know this world the first 'big fight' was us vs. AD and we won 4 KOs to 1 after full killing one of their shitters/foragers. But you didn't see it so it's not real, like when you cover ur face while talking to a baby.

I think the hyperbole this retard is taking literally is just that we don't want to go to arranged mass fights vs. the #1/#2 power ranked villages because we'd lose and he's right, even tho we seem to fuck them up regularly by doing hoodrat shit. We're intentionally small and not very many of us are great at combat.

There will (probably) not be enough fights after the point questing kicks off to justify caring from that perspective at all. I feel sorry for random hermit#339 who's trying to sell her boards at the market after tryharding trees all world but can't compete with the 2 people autistic enough to quest all day. It would ruin the game for me if I went back to being a late world trader or caring about industry/stat grinding for its own sake.

It's not just that, though. It's shit like truffles. A boi who has Q300 truffles will literally gain attributes >x10 faster than somebody using unquested truffles.

Good point, I kind of forgot about truffles this world.

Honestly fuck questing in general, delete that shit for the game.

Would it be advisable to change questing to only provide LP payouts, as a sort of way to help onboard new players who don't want to wait for curiosities to complete to unlock new skills/gain new points in exploration?

I find that new players are unable to identify tasks that they need to accomplish to help themselves progress, and often get the misguided belief that they are being progressed blocked by waiting for curiosities, mostly because they don't understand what other tasks they should be performing.

Quests could fill that gap, slightly, without undermining these other systems ya'll are taking umbrage with quests interactions.

  • To extend the usefulness of Sketches in World 15, we intend to make it so that a total of up to two sketches can be applied to any mundane container (e.g. Chests, Wicker Baskets, Cupboards, &c), to extend that inventory in size by one row, and/or one

Can we get a dev statement on the current plans for this? When it was discussed earlier in the thread, the feedback was universally negative ([1] [2] [3] [4]) or at best neutral/hesitant ([1] [2]), with the only argument in favor being 'well, at least it's not as bad as gachashit'. This will influence my choice of subscription as Silver/Gold tiers are essentially just donations and it makes no sense to donate to a game with pay-to-win microtransactions in its business model.

If you want to sell more sketches, why not add more cosmetic options, especially ones people have been asking for for a long time? For example, hair styles and colors are still very limited; if people could spend sketches to select premium-exclusive hairstyles (why do we still not have long hair as option?) or more hair colors (ideally just a free color pick rather than a choice between preset templates) that could be a good sink for sketches. There's also other cosmetic options to be explored, like spending a sketch to change the color of a piece of equipment. There are plenty of options left for sketches that do not involve gaining more in-game advantage the more cash you pay.

Bump. I don't understand devs point of view. They want hp to be fixed at 100 but in the meantime they allow hp gain from dungeon heart pieces. Stick to one decision
