It was mentioned in the OP: In case you don't have the person chatting kinned, their presentation name is sent to you for the purposes of the chat. Figured the realm chat would just be completely unusable otherwise.

yeah my bad, skimmed over the notes. Ty for the update, good job guys

Although, a note on public chat, its a bit strange that i can only access the public chat while within the border of the realm even though i'm oathed to a realm and can access the private anywhere in the world.

Realm chat is interesting. It could have more of an impact than we think. If not, it's nice to just have the ability in game to talk to people in the larger area.
