You can pursue through the gate.

lol. Don't have a problem with the update, just think the timing's funny. I've got a newish character and I've been doing some heavy terraforming. I've got huuuuge... piles of earth, and I was thinking, oh soon I'll be able to have lots of glass! And, now, I'm not. Oh well, guess I"ll have to plant lots of trees instead :)

Is this correct?

. I enter a walled claim as a visitor and I'm attacked. I am able to attack back and kill them after being aggroed, but I am not able to aggro first.
. We can still commit crimes in a claim if we enter through wall breaches or mineholes.
. We can't shoot arrows from towers.
. Towers have the same soak as a brickwall.

Will future versions allow you to add defense items to towers?

Yes.

No, the tower soaks 60, while the brickwall soaks 70.

Only creating a fighting relation is a crime, so as long as you have one open, the Visitor buff does not affect it, and you can go on doing whatever you were already doing.

Important question:

If I'm inside the claim and the person is outside the claim, can they aggro me? Because if someone just tells me they want to visit and I say "ok, let me open for you" what prevents them from aggroing as soon as I open and THEN entering?

Nothing. They can indeed do that.

You could probably close the gate again just as quickly, though. You could probably also "hide" behind the wall until they're inside the gate.

Indeed. There is still plenty of room for interesting backstabs here.

I'd like to say yes, but we have no timetable, or even concrete plans, or anything like that.
