10/10 Best update this world has seen so far! :D

As a suggestion, could you please consider re-evaluating the fate system? As many players mentioned before, fate curios are so rare you hardly ever find one, and if you do it has such little LP yield it is pretty much useless to anyone.

Perhaps make them yield a LOT more LP or make them less rare? Maybe both? :D

That being said, it looks like this year will be a great year for the game! :D

Well... It was fun while it lasted... Teleportation is back in and that kind of ends my interest in the new Hafen. Things had such potential. I'll keep an eye out and come back if things get interesting again.

Also -> Charter stones have been re-implemented without bringing back their initial functionality, which kind of cancels the point of having Charter Stones, to my mind.
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

Attracting new players to your village.
So they could come there from starting area and you could have big noob camps and such.

Going back to old features: that's a peculiar view on progress.

On chat people are already talking about how easy it will be to make alts. I believed this world's features were supposed work against that. I share the feeling of others that this world has become too messed up to be worth the effort, I'm more interested in the next one.

Their initial functionality was that rather than having to enter the name, the name of a built Charter Stone would simply appear in a list that is available for travel from the character creation room. If you want to setup a noob camp, just post the name in Dwarves & Thieves?

weren't you in favor of charter stones?

I was in favor of charter stones, not return of teleportation and all the exploits that come with it.

As for roads, IMO they didn't fail at all, the only problem is that there's too few players on too big a map. The lack of players had a lot more to do with inability to spawn with friends than inability to instantly teleport anywhere in the world at any time.

So yeah, the way things are regressing now, I wouldn't be surprised if we next get LP from crafting buckets.

You've been out of touch. From what I hear some people go around destroying other peoples roads daily. (maybe they do it by hand but it would be pretty easy to make a bot that does it with fresh spawned alts.)

As for charterstones well welcome to vaults again (if someone bothered). Bring reinforcements safely and instantly to any vault you own? You betcha, move in curios to your vault so your combat chars are disjointed from your real production center? Yep. Summon a lot of leveling ground alts that can be botted to dig nicely yep.

Meh.
