Could be:

- Rain causes some damage to some structures (kilns, house roofs to repair with roofing material, etc).

- Rain fill or dilute the tanning tubes

- Increased number of mushrooms after rain (strange that no one has mentioned this yet)

- Increased chance of being struck by lightning while wearing metal armor in the rain (you're a walking lightning rod)

- Rain-related spells, summoning rain for a short period (or maybe calling the ancestors for rain with numens, if the rain will affect the crops?)

- Increased chance of cave-ins on the first/second levels of the mine during rain due to soil erosion?

Practical FEPs are a lot higher than listed on the wiki (presumably due to variable FEPs), though they'll be less AGI-focused unless you find the right ingredients for it. AGI is currently my highest stat (at 73 base).

I checked the base stats in-game, and the wiki's FEP listing is no longer accurate, Crab Cakes got massively buffed in the food overhaul:

As a reminder, Dusk Ferns are leaves, so you can use those for >q10 leaves if you don't have good leaves crops yet.

Localized rain whenever a high stated character dies? Could be cool for murderhobo areas to seem more dreary

The rain would look x100 better with a skybox that changes based on location/time of day/weather

Cows should lie down before and during rain.

Sheep should be absolutely miserable and huddle together for warmth.

Pigs should play in mud.

Rain ideas:
Better fish catch %
Random earthworms pop up on ground, you can pick them up (maybe a curiosity chance as well? Giant earthworm?)
Puddles, you can remove the puddles with water container items, they despawn after certain time unless cleared with containers
All bugs disappear during rain, dragonflies, wild beehives have no activity around them, birds do not spawn etc
While being indoors you can hear the rain hitting the roof (not sure if it's possible to do since houses can be underground as well)

I propose to make rainwater, an analogue of spring water, in terms of planting crops in pots. and make special water collectors that will collect this rainwater (since our barrels are considered closed)

as well as make different water effects when cooking, including salt water, and make a separate type of water, "well"

in the rain, stamina is spent faster on unpaved terrain.

spawn earthworms in quality from the ground where they spawned.
