Don't get me wrong there are plenty of valid arguments for needing bunny slippers 24/7 being cringe, but they're really minor complaints even if you're only looking to compare it to stuff in the same category.

If you're annoyed you always have to wear slippers and it's cumbersome to switch to plateboots then having to carry hussars and switch between that and a backpack is an x100 worse version of the same complaint.

If you don't like that scripts are useful in combat coracles/skiis needing a script to enter/exit instead of just being an equippable swimming animation/mechanic change is an x1000 worse version of the same complaint.

If you just care about combat being fun or not just a stat/numbers check SOS is an x100 worse version of the same complaint.

If you care about overall balance/people losing because they didn't have the right piece of equipment winter vehicles being egregiously retarded is x100000 worse.

We're only talking about this because it's the flavor of the month, not because anybody cares all that much

Same dude who said "IF THEY REMOVE BUNNY SLIPPERS AND FORAGER IM JOINING A BIG FACTION NEXT WORLD" is also saying bunny slippers isnt that important guys stop crying, while having his 10 boyfriends agreeing with him as they are on every single post, calling every single dude a hermit when neither of them participates in any big pvp other then chasing said hermits xD

It's pretty damn hard to understand it thru the clouds of copium though

I want everyone here to understand that the reason all the "pvpers" wanted the speed buff back was because it was one of the few things in fighting that could be considered skill-based. I believe I speak for the majority of people who play in the pvp scope of the game when I say that the entire reason we want this back is because of this fact. This is not some coordinated effort to fuck sprucecaps over even more, or whatever strange conspiracy is going on here. In fact, I had no trouble catching hermits without critter speed buffs...

I hope this helps some of you realize that the critter speed buff wasn't the ONLY REASON you could not flee an encounter with someone. This video takes place a day before the most recent winter, about a couple weeks after the initial removal of the critter speed buff:

As you can see, this still took very little time, and if the change had not occurred and this person knew and used critters, they could have escaped. I really don't understand why people think this is the only reason they can't escape. Is this just some sort of "yeah FUCK those faction/pvp/botting/scripting/customclient people!!" and that's all?

I coulda sworn I saw the nab run out of stam and forget to press drink too....lol like I was saying, we are talking skill gaps that minor bonuses aren't going to affect realistically.

No 17 year old gangly kid should have a fighting chance against a veteran warfighter and we all know it. That was funny though. "nononono" :D

Can you stop talking about the cringe pvp change that affects no one, can we talk about how annoying it is to place a watermill instead

it's refreshing to see someone i don't know share this """"unpopular"""" opinion
not turning it into a "us vs them" either is also nice

big ups for being real with haven combat lol

Changing again buff from credo is really bad, blocking waterways by new building even worse. Except above, quite good patch :)

I am not TOTALLY pvp ignorant, I have probably a 35 kill - 12 death K:D in bein my small village's chief (and only person willing to even attempt combat for a while) over the last decade plus but I am not going to pretend I have any idea what real PVP is like.

I participated in one meteor fight 3-4 worlds ago on a combat alt with some friends and I got absolutely steamrolled, lol, but I had a blast. I knew I would die or lose going in, but it was still an incredibly eye opening experience to see what 50 people pvpin at once actually looked like.

This world I have only done 2v2s and 2v1s against me, but considering I was using vanilla and won the 2v2 for my team and sent my buddy away with the loot before they could return. I'd call myself mildly experienced, but not any good lol. Still, it's fun to see some changes happening at all, regardless of their relevance to my situation.

The increased options and now high visibility to these areas that are lacking in terms of pvp is at least giving me some hope that Jorb and Loftar are finally going to address this and further flesh out their game and give the masses what they want : PVP intended options to express skill.

Considering my very first session playing the game (w3) I logged into world after char creation, on a riverside, I walked 5 minutes, a big bad in shiny armor with a sword or something says in area : "CZ?"

I go "hello" and promptly get aggro'd and a stone mansion construction sign placed immediately behind me, which ofc I couldn't understand, as I was panicking and literally brand new....yeah I knew then from that soul departing my body, I was gonna no-life this and keep playing another 14-15+ years ¦]

any experience is good in my opinion, glad you had a good time pvping
more people should try it before putting their negative opinions out there, which many do - god bless
