Sequences of events:

• Rasveet gets interrupted in the middle of a malicious bugraid
• I come out of retirement(tm) they spawn me on an alt and I figure out the bug in like 10min
• I report it to you immediately
• I fuck around in some guy's base for maybe a few hours looking for other sled bugs
• I don't steal tokens, kill outlaws, break anything, even though the opportunity to do all of these things was there
• I take 1 inventory of paintings/low value LARP shit on the way out because funi
• I get banned / black cum zones
• I find and report several other sled related bugs
• Permaban

Not only do I get a punishment at all, but I get a worse punishment than the malicious guy? Why would anybody EVER report a bug? I don't understand how you could possibly justify this.

It's not even as if you didn't know all of this. Like, you understand this is why nobody reports bugs, right?

if you guys are gonna put up this entire theatre, thread, and to pretend valuing bug reports and/or "appeals for clemency" try putting at least a half hearted effort towards actually reading said things next time you decide to overreact to a situation again

this is the type of thing that just demolishes any amount of player good will (what little is left of it anyway, in some cases)
