Alright I already replied but I went to bed pissed of and after a good night sleep Im still pissed.
So you fucked up and fucked up good.
You banned someoned 1 day because he used the word retarded , then came across a post of Loftar using the same word, decided to double and triple down instead while questioning ironically if you should warn him too ( by your logic you should ban him 1 day btw).

You decided to check the wiki , not knowing exactly what hate speech refer to I imagine , and instead of reading the first line , you decided to choose the second one, specific to the us , for whatever reason.

The whole issue is that Loftar himself, you know the dev , doesnt believe it is hatespeach, using the word himself.
And it might be just me but I'd imagine an admin is above a mod.

TheServant/Misa has openly bragged how he had "intimate relations" with a girl who, while over the age of consent in Brazil, would be consider a minor in most (western) countries.

While I have to assume it was just an edgy, inconsiderate, and worst of all - unfunny joke, he hasn't made a statement that this is the case, insisting this would be "giving in to the cancel mob." Closest thing has been an attempt to backtrack/downplay with a statement that claimed said relation was just a "kiss."

Thus, my personal moderation stance on this matter:

1. I find it unproductive to have a thread dedicated to repeating the allegations in an endless cycle. Especially when that effort could've been instead spent on compiling all the evidence in a single concise resource*, which likely would've convinced most people (including me) to take a firm "anti-Misa stance."
2. Responding to Misa forum posts with "kys pedo" is not something I would personally censor.

*Snail TECHNICALLY provided me all the evidence all the way back in June, but this was kind of an equivalent of me dropping a trash can at the police station and tell them to dig it up. Analogue is maybe bit too unfair, I could've reasonably dug it all up, but Snail could've almost as reasonably made a single compilation under a single link. Back then I had no idea this thing even existed, he was the one with burden of proof.
1. I make relatively strong statements based on 6 Discord screenshots that were on top of the trash can.
2. Someone points out there's Imgur link(s) at the bottom of the can.
3. I make statements based on the facts I just became aware of.
4. I get called hypocrite/flip-flopper/whatever.

Since these things are apparently not obvious:

• If you wish to make serious allegations against a community member then you do so in DMs to a moderator, rather than in a public doxxing thread.
• This forum will not attempt to police any nonsense that happens in your discord servers, nor will it consider your discord screenshots relevant to its proceedings.
• If you are concerned that a serious crime may have been committed pertaining to some member of the community, then you should report that to the proper police authorities, rather than attempt to use it as a club to wield in some private e-vendetta here.

I feel like jorb may need to deliver a reminder to everyone on the forums and that the moderation team would take what he has said into consideration when making decisions on what to moderate. This topic has been going on for nearly a year and it is getting pretty tiring to read every time I login to the forums.

I agree. It will be really funny when the same conversations continue in that discord and jorb/loftar just go "it's not the official discord" despite allowing everyone to believe the contrary.
