I see you have since then nuked the derailed part of the thread, so I take back my complaint. It was annoying that a small group of people regularly fucked up every thread where Misa or WB was mentioned while the mod team did nothing. Nice to see something finally being done about it.

Regarding the "light warning" part, as you can see in the now Hel'd part of the thread, people continued the same behavior after your warning, so it doesn't seem to be too effective.

Personally, I think it'd be more effective and also funnier if the moderators were more tyrannical. Sometimes I feel the desire to be neutral often ends up in a lot of slop posts getting through and a lot of trashy threads being posted on for a long while, with low effort responses.

And part of me thinks it'd be really funny to see the ensuing front and back war between said shitposters making 30 alts to bypass bans and the ensuing drama that would happen after that.

Yeah that already happened, the result is no different than the current pedophile dramas. Moderate low quality posts, low quality posters constantly complain to devs about heavy handed moderation, devs give in because they don't know how to handle a community and nothing changes.

Yeah, it was me, but honestly, just before launch I wished I didn't. Conditions were perfect for him to unapologetically bash heads in with collateral damage.

Pills has done a great job though, I feel. Still, I wouldn't mind him back, his heart's in the right place.
