It's not the first game either to do resets. Most notable i would say Diablo 2, but there are probably other mmorpgs with that mechanic.

i had never minded the previous resets. there were reasons. but a reset for a faction winning with something and all have to follow that win? nah.

Ignoring the concept of a faction "winning", it's forseeable that the game world could need a reset without a major tech advance requiring a wipe.

Honestly, haven is a phoenix and it does need wipes every 9-16 months. If a world went past 12 months, at some point I still feel the devs would need to initiate a wipe.
Lucky: haven is so quirky
Lucky: can be so ugly, can be so heartwarming

Jorb / Loftar. Please fix camera angles when entering and exiting houses. My little house has a door facing south I think, but when I enter, the door is on the east side of my indoors. So when I enter and exit my house, (the smallest one) I always have to re-adjust my camera so I can see where I am going next.

I know, I guess you would rather have it be a permanent wound, so thanks for the mercy m'lord.

I think he wants them to bleed out, thus killing the character, and if not kept treated, start getting infected. But what do I know? I can only speculate about what goes on in the minds of ebil devs.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

I don't think you should be.
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

I've been to Moosejaw, it's the last stop on the grayhound busline when your going north to buttfuck nowhere northern Saskatchewan.

My gram lives in at a place called Greenwater lake. Thread title is apt.

Perhaps haven should have an ending to it, a la wurm?
