well to be fair sometimes they make good decisions too, for example removing the stat caps was a good one although very umpopular, and that was a good thing that they didn't listen to the majority there
but then again it was their decision to implement them in the first place...

This is so true, to maintain your coins on multiple oponnents, use defences in a smart way so you don't run out of coins - it required some skill, right now it will be just a 1 or 2 button spam and you're immortal - so what your enemies get more coins? What's the difference if they got 50 or 250 on you? It's not like they have to stop the chase to stack coins or anything.

Really j&l, pvp was really good before this patch, I suppose that some people complained becouse bitches will always complain but it was balanced and both b12 and swords were good. Right now what you want us to do is just completly surround the person with 10 people and spam attacks on him, cus otherways with defences being coin free its just impossible to kill someone in a regular fight when you can't just surround him completly.. Just listen to people that are doing the pvp in this game since forever and not to newbies with 5 posts and joining date 1 week ago..

The coin stacking on spar was pretty abusable but I don't think that it could be used in many scenarios - in a fight you have to attack the enemy not only spam defences on your spar partner, you couldn't really switch to your partner so often and I don't think that this tactic saved anyone to be honest.

this is so wrong it's not even funny

Also, the combat changes are good in intention, but broken when you understand what they do, like everyone said.

The alternative is that auto-aggro becomes an automatic death sentence, and that is not preferable. I would prefer this to be a less boolean situation, where you can sometimes manage to aggro, and sometimes get away, but I do not know how to accomplish that with any quick and easy fix.

Anyone can feel free to explain why these changes are bad, and what would be better, and we'll happily try something else, but we, quite simply, can't have a situation where you circle jerk up a thousand IPs against your friends before combat even starts.

All you give me with comments like this is a personal desire to spite you. I'm not sure that's constructive.

I bet Jorb you didn't even spar with Loftar to check how it works, if ppl who are fighting in this game say its so fucking bad, then something must be wrong with your combat changes.(Ozzy, me, Maslow, Troll, Mulder) and Im sure most of fighters from every faction will agree with us that your combat changes are REALLY BAD.
Idk dude, we have decent 700 players online per day, but I think you want to decrease our numbers. For me if you wanna change something in combat, first you should talk about it with most experience warriors in hafen.
For example (Mulder, Troll and Ozzy)

For example (Mulder, Troll and Ozzy)

your group and Troll are saying completely different things, Ozzy is saying everyone is invulnerable with defense spam, Troll is saying there's no way to defend against blue spam.

Listening to people with "the most experience" doesn't really help if those people don't know what they're talking about. The same people who were saying full UA is the only way to play later were saying parry build is imbalanced and needs a big nerf.

There's 1 thing more stupid than making combat changes without even trying combat, and that is listening to players because of how much combat they do.

That is correct. We do not have time to spar, build a 50 man village, or otherwise get personally acquainted with every iota of every possible game experience. You talk as if I were somehow disputing that the changes are bad, but where have I done that? I am entirely open to the possibility that they are, but simply stating that is entirely useless, as, in order to improve on it, I'll still need to know why they are.

"The most experienced warriors in Haven" have -- rightly -- complained about IP stacking, and we have tried to amend that. Apparently this is the usual Seatribe conspiracy against everything Haven. Game has gone downhill since the first commit.

Stop bashing us for spending our time working on the game, and instead of bitching and moaning help out by telling us what to do. We will happily implement any bright ideas you have, but simply saying "boo", accomplishes precisely nothing.
