Splashes on the ground are great but that constantly scrolling curtain of droplets... Meeh.

Regarding collecting rainwater, what if the collected water is just the quality of the water node at that location (i.e. what you'd get from a well at that location)? Rainwater collection could serve as a cheap but very limited well, only gaining a limited quantity of water over time (in contrast to an expensive well which has infinite supply).

This would also be an excellent way to check quality in an area that would cost tonnes of rope/stone without having to use all those resources to find out

Rain should stop the progress of drying frames unless they are inside and hasten the casting moulds cooling time

I think that the rain sounds should be a part of the Ambient channel, rather than the In-game Event channel. The rain sounds are nice but when I'm listening to something in another window it can get slightly annoying.

Do you not run at 60 fps i didnt know people in modern day cant run this

Please show us your FPS on default client with any real activity on the screen, such as an active village or patch of 9999999 reeds. Jorb was dropping down to single-digit FPS at some points during the combat testing stream.
