It would be much easier to raise small armies if there was only teleportation on KO, which is a little more realistic. Not in the teleportation sense, but if we're basing haven off a kind of feudal atmosphere, there were very trained warriors (knights, huscarls, whatever you want to call them,) but armies mostly consisted of levies from villages and towns around the kingdom. It'd be neat to see this in haven but I'm not sure how it would work or if it would be either an incentive to PvP or just make people want to PvP even less, I guess it would depend on how it's done. If done right, I think you could probably get a lot more people into the game since PvP permadeath would no longer be too much of a worry for newbies, and it's a big drawback for some since the amount of hours you have to put into this game is insane. Dying once for a casual hermit or villageperson is pretty much the worst thing in the world, and I've seen too many cases of people ragequitting because this game is too harsh. I realize it's a draw for some, but if this game is going to ever get out of the extremely niche market it's in it needs to have these kinds of changes and improvements.
Also, I feel like general community feeling about these changes can be felt in
this topic. I personally disagree with the stockpiling NPC, but I feel the rest are really good ideas and thoughts on the subject.
